Good afternoon,
Going to be hitting up the bayous close to Anahuac in hopes to connect with some RedFish. Any tips this time of year? I understand it’s going to be cold weather and low water levels.

I don't fish that far north but fish a lot of the marshes around the Corpus area. February is a great time to get out and explore, the low water levels can expose structure may otherwise not know is there. In the marshes focus at confluences of drains/channels and sharp bends in the channels. These will be deeper and have current when tides or winds are blowing. Wind blown shorelines are another good option.
Casting with artificial shrimp such as DOA and Vudu in those deeper pockets works great. Wake baits and small spoons allow you cover more open waters of back lakes.
