I started fishing when I was around 8. I fished till I was 18, and started back this year at 42. I want to get into kayak fishing and I’ve been watching a lot of kayak tournaments as well as MLF. One of the crazy things I see is forward facing sonar. It looks like video game fishing and some of the recent tournaments the pros are just staring at a screen throwing drop shots.
Seems like it’s ruining the experience and knowledge of the sport.
Do kayak tournaments allow forward facing?
Back to fishing - forward facing sonar???
