Finally, Something to Post About

Post by TexasJim »

Took my kayak to Bayside bridge on Hwy 136 before sunrise this morning and boated a 23-1/2" red about 8 AM and a 23 at 9 AM, with a 19-3/4 in-between. Caught one on a wake bait, and the other on a Norton Sand Eel on a 1/4 oz jig head. I fished the marsh and oyster reefs on the south side of 136, before the big bridge. Lots of fish, but the bite was over for me after 9. Only a short drum on dead shrimp the rest of the day. Went to the cleaning station at Cove Harbor. Lots of boats coming in, but no one else came to clean fish. Hopefully, a picture will magically appear. TexasJim

We had a blast on topwaters last week, and will post about it to follow Josh's reports.
