Day 4 back in the yak

Post by saltykat »

Launched just before daylight with a couple buddies getting there a little bit later. Worked some shoreline’s with lots of mullet flipping around. Caught a limit of reds and a 21” trout left the shallow water to look for some trout. Caught one on the edge of a reef about an hour later. Kept moving after that and found a school in 3 ft of water with good tide movement ended up with 9 keepers all released. Weather was perfect light breeze sunny for the most part some fog rolled in. Perfect trout green water about 1.5 to 2 ft visibility. Buddies didn’t do as well today for some reason.

Save some for us, Admiral Wilchek! Looks like you found both Reds and Specks today. I know you really enjoy catching them from your Hobie PA.
