Just a few reminders.
Adopt-A-Beach cleanup has an event for April 22 (Earth Day). They have several locations that maybe closer to where you live.

PINS: There is also the Big Shell Cleanup on Feb. 25. In addition, I included a link for public engagement on recent proposals on the management of PINS. If you are concerned about beach access or Turtle Recovery this maybe something to look at.

Re: Adobt-A-Beach, PINS, and traps.
Thanks for the info. I'd go to the one in Galveston if it happened during my vacation but it looks like it's not till April and I'm leaving March 19th
Re: Adobt-A-Beach, PINS, and traps.
Thanks for looking into it. They will have another one in September.
Re: Adobt-A-Beach, PINS, and traps.
Thanks for all who came out and the Clean-Green crew from Aransas for making LHL that much more beautiful. We got close to the same amount as last time but it was harder to find, the high tides may have contributed to that.
If you have not been to the western end of the park you may not have noticed the new barrier. This part of the park has loss a lot of land due to changing currents. Just since last September I noticed considerable loss up there. Nonetheless, another cleanup is set for September! Tight lines, light paddles, and enjoy that Texas heat!
