Day 16
Day 16
Launched just before daylight sw wind 5-10 tried some shoreline with good water movement but no bites so didn’t waste much time there. Water warmed a few degrees from yesterday 57 to 59 today. Caught 7 trout to 23” one here and one there had to cover alot of water to find them in 3.5 to 4 fow. Water was clear is some areas and murky in others caught them in the cleaner water on the same mirrolure I’ve been using

Re: Day 16
Hey, Admiral, we see you're still catching sold trout while we sit home and read about your fishing adventures. I'm tired of waiting.
So I'll see you Thursday down in Galveston for a powerboat trip! I know you prefer kayak-fishing, but I look forward to a nice boat ride and catching some gamefish.
TKF might get a dandy report from two old guys who usually find some fish! See you Thursday.

Looking forward to it Dandy. The water will probably be mid 60's by then it's basically spring unless we get another cold front. Time to break out some skitterwalks

Re: Day 16
Will bring my small Plano box of favorite trout lures. But please don't make me get outta the boat to wadefish. I'm too mature for that, hello.
But I did hit a 345-ft sidearm skip-ACE w/ my new SALT driver. The young guys swooned. Three days ago.
