Problem with older Lowrance x4 pro

Post by jab1 »

I have a Lowrance X4 Pro several years old. It has not been used in a long time. I hooked it up to my new Hobie and when I power it up, the depth flashes 60 feet. I am testing it on dry ground, not in water. Do I have a bad transducer or need a hard reset? Advice please.

It's not going to read properly out of water. Try it in the water to see if it reads correctly
