I thought I would share a youtube video I made as a fishing report. I did entitle the video "September to remember" because of the time with my son and teaching him to catch his first fish on top water. So it does include a 2nd day. Still, the area was on the north side of the bridge between the electrical poles and the bridge. It always holds a good trout bite on top water early in the morning.

Lures: Super Spook Jr.

Yaks: Hobie PA 14 & Passport

Fish: 5 keeper trout over two days

The white SSjr is, thanks to Slowride. my all time favorite spin fish lure. Many, many years ago, he taught me how to successfully use it.

If conditions were not conducive to fly fishing, I always kept a spook rigged spin rod at the ready. Caught my share of reds and specs without fail....mostly.
