The Marinade is based on up to 5lbs of brisket.
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of worchestershire sauce
2 cups of salsa (I prefer Pace hot)
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and place the brisket in the marinade for at least 6 hours (Keep refridgerated).
Preheat oven to 300 degrees
place brisket and marinade in a baking pan and cover with aluminum foil.
Cook for 5 hours.
If using a crockpot cook on high for 8 hours.
The brisket will be so tender it falls apart when you try to cut it.
This marinade works great for pork and venison. For venison increase the marinade ingredients by half to compensate for the lack of fat in the meat.
