Dishwasher fish???????

Post by aggiebowfisher »

Ok...I think that there is no way that this would work but I had a guy ask me the other day if I had ever made fish in the dishwasher!!! He said that he had done it many time and that you season normally and wrap in foil making sure that it is sealed up. Then run it through a wash cycle and that the hot water would steam the fish. Now, even if it is possible I don't think I would ever try it but am just curious if anyone has heard of or done this.

I've cooked chicken on a car engine, only cooked eggs on the concrete.

If you look on Foodtv, there is a recipe from a guy nicknamed the "surreal gourmet" that cooked fish in the dishwasher. Here is the link.
