Has anyone tried fishing the canal over at Las Colinas ? Is there fish there ?

I've heard talk about it and have seen discussions but I think that you are not allowed to fish there from what I can recall.

My brother lives on those canals and I've bank fished - and yes, you can get bass out there. I was fishing in front of the "No Fishing" signs on Las Colinas Blvd, where the bridge supports are, and got several.

I seem to remember someone telling me they actually hold a tournament there......

as I sit here in my apartment I am looking at Lake Carolyn (the lake on the N. side of LC blvd that feeds the canals) and frankly I would avoid anything in this lake, the water is putrid, i see people fishing it all but with minimal success, I would think though if you fished the section of the lake N. of NW highway behind the Dart station you would have the best luck.
