What do you use most? I know I am leaving some out but I figure these are the most popular reel. If you use something else throw it in. I have a curado 101 that I will be testing out next weekend!

My new go to is the Core. I have 2 of the new Curados though too and they are next in line.

I've got one of the older, green, SF, 100's on my topwater rod and a new 100D on my plastic rod. So, I use both.

I have a Citica 201D and a Sedona. The Sedona is my go to reel. I probably use it over 90% of the time.

Cardiff 100...in my opinion the best value for the dollar that Shimano offers.

I've got a Chronarch, 2 Curados, and 2 Citicas. I use them in that order. That said, I don't know that the Chronarch is 2.5 times better than the Citicas as the price delta would suggest. Same applies to the deltas between Curado and Citica and Curado to Chronarch. The differences are subtle to me. I've never been able to appreciate the sound quality of a $2,000 stereo and my wife says I have the culinary aptitude of a starving coyote. Long story short - I'm easy to please. I've been happy with all my Shimano reels and will be hard pressed to use/buy from any other manufacturer in the future.

I have in my many years owned every major reel made. My first reel was a Shakesphere Service which was used on a homemade calcutta rod. My first true casting reel was a Langley Lurecast. At the time my father was useing Cox reels...........I progressed to Shakesphere direct drives and then to Pfluger Supremes and finally to Shakesphere Presidents. I then fished the red Garcias and then the lew's Speed Spools. From the Lew's reels I went to the Shimano Bantams which did not hold up in the salt but were great at Rayburn...........................

I then evolved to the Classic green Shimano Curodo's cu200..........I then went to the Chronarch 100 SF which for a number of reasons is the best reel that I have ever owned.................This reel is very easy to maintain. It casts further and holds more line than most. It is a wonderful reel and Shimano made a big mistake getting rid of it.

I bought a Chronarch 50 mg which is a terrible reel. No distance, no capasity and is not as easy to maintain as the SF

At the moment I am trying to buy a couple of the old Chronarch's on e-bay...................

I've got an 8 year old Curado B:5 ( 5:1 ratio). I've never seen anybody else with one. It's larger than the 100. Still cast like the day I got it.

I voted MG cause it's the closest thing to what I use, which are 2 old Chronarch SFs.

Stradics 4000 and 2000. I get them wet and have the man at Academy rebuild them. They are light weight and I can throw for hours and hours.
He sold me a Sonora recently which is $75 cheaper and seems to work well also.
