The Winter bite is on for these locations and the Baytown Nature Center is a great place to launch. They are open from 6AM-6PM, $3 to launch.

Try soft plastics in the Jr. sizes with 1/16 - 1/8 oz jig heads. Glo / White with Chartreuse tail has worked well in the past. Don't forget your drift sock.

Went to Burnett for a 1/2 day and the larger Trout were there scattered in 4-5' of water (mud bottom). Caught a 24", 5lber today on a TTII Jr. in Texas Bone w/Chartreuse tail, 1/8oz jig head. All the Trout caught were right on the bottom. The best part it's <45 minutes away! January and February should be good months to fish this area for big Trout also.
