Westerfield crossing

I hear tell that the new bridge is open.
Can we still put in on river right as before?

The bridge is open. The parking situation has changed. There is very little room for your vehicle. A high guard rail extends about 100 feet on both sides of the bridge making access a little more difficult.

Thanks SP, We made it down to check it out yesterday.

We didn't gain anything but it is better than what they left us with at Sculls.

We fished from old bastrop rd bridge down to sculls yesterday. Neither places are ideal put in or get out spots but definitely doable. Caught 1 nice LMB and a large 19" cat. Bunches of sun fish on the fly. Warthog wins the sunfish award
