April Fish Pics

It is like someone flipped a switch and the fish put on their Easter clothes. Colors are bright and beautiful, just in time for the spring spawn. The San Marcos River is still way off in numbers, but the fish are beautiful as always.

Hey guys and gals . . . . I started this thread to give everyone a place to post photos, above and beyond the competition. You have some awesome river experiences and some beautiful fish pics, so lets see them.

Beautiful fish! I think we should have a thread like this every month just to show off some beautiful fish and how much fun we're having on the river. Everything doesn't have to be a competition. Although I do love to compete.

Braved the wind this afternoon and was able to scratch out a few.

I didn't want to bring this catfish in the kayak with me so I didn't get a good picture but it was probably around five pounds. I thought it was a big bass at first.

Agreed skypilot, I'd like one of these every month so folks can just show off what they caught. Y'all are making me jealous already. Can't wait for a day off.

Not fresh water in new braunfels but I'm proud
