Live Oak Lake

Post by pitontheprowl »

After months of trash talking I finally got a friend of mine to get a kayak.
He is all ready to rig it out and kind of irritated when I tell him to just wait. LoL
Today will be his first outing in it
Pelican Enforcer 120x Angler......

Seeing as he got a 12 footer I bagged up my 9.5 Featherlite and got out Mainstream.
I have had my Kingfish for a long time and it has only been in the water a hand full of times.
I need to rig it too.

The outing went good.
It did take him a little while to get use to the feel of being in a little boat.
He almost chickened out about 5 minutes after being on the water.
He said he remembered how pissed his wife would be if he didn't use it. LMIAO!!!

Wound up staying out about 3 hours.
Tried to get him to go out sunday but he cried about being sunburned........ SMH

Kingfish did great and got it rigged with everything.
Had it out saturday and sunday.
Did have about a gallon of water in the hull but cant find a leak......
Pumped the whole boat with a continual 70psi of air and washed with soapy water...... Only leaks found were at every rivet but they are all way above water level and I didnt take any water over the sides....
Thinking maybe the drain plug wasn't tight.
Will find out this weekend and will have my hand pump just incase.
