keith lake is alive .. with boats
went to the new boat ramp, launched and was passed up by 3 boats, there were a dozen trailer on the lot. as i entered the lake i saw a flock of bird working straight ahead with no boat on them. i paddled hard. then, with the wind at my back, about 50yds out i stop paddling and made my approach via drifting .. i heard the 1st boat approach, then a second. made 2 casts into the diving birds had 2 rat reds. then they were gone. paddled back to the grass line and found the pack, every cast .. even had a few casts with two rat reds on my tandem rig paddle tail gulp. work them 'til i've picked up my 3 slots 22"-24" released a few more slots, had one screaming run that became unbuttoned. lost count on the rats. quit at 10:30, with the north wind howling by then, it took me more than an hour to make it back to the ramp. nice day

Nice report. I saw a bunch of boats when I went by it the other day.
