bravos River

Post by beekeeper »

Four of us will put in on the Brazos at the hwy 16 bridge below PK Dam on May 17 for a 3 day/2 night run to Rochelle’s at hwy 4 and the river. We invite others to join us about 11a.m. At the bridge. Hopefully, the river conditions will be hospitable

Two of our partners canceled at the last minute. Myself and another put in the 860 cf/s flow and enjoyed the ride. The usual put-out spots were under water and a number of camping spots were flooded. Seldom do we get to enjoy that kind of river flow. There was no dragging, not once. It made for fun, different, trip.

I did that float once and we had like 65 CFS, can't imagine doing it with 800+.

65 cf/s is nothing but work. There is no fun in that.
