Braunig Red report?

Any one been catching Reds at Braunig this time of year? I haven't been for a few months. Wonder if its worth it to head out...

I will be back to Calaveras fishing for catfish and reds in late spring.

the answer is always yes if the warm water discharge is flowing...in the winter all kinds of fish stack up in the warmer water.....

Nothing on the reds, but I got a guide report on Calaveras, that they are catching blues drifting using cut carp up by the highlines. Nothing big, but in the four to five pound range.
I think with all the guides working the lake and no regard for catch and release the days of the big trophy blues is probably over.
