Stingaree Marina Restaurant
Stingaree Marina Restaurant
I heard a few weeks ago that the restaurant had suffered a fire and would be closed for a while. Has anyone heard the status, or when they might reopen?

If you are in the Crystal Beach area, please support Brad and the Stingaree facilities. He's one of the first in our area to step up and have a designated Kayak launch ramp and parking area. These are good folks and they deserve our support.
Thanks

Has he closed the kayak ramp to PB's yet? The last time I was there I had some very angry Operators telling me to find another place to launch. I told them what for and politely explained that the ramp was a kayak ramp.TKFStubb wrote:Hookin Red wrote:i have also heard that the goal was to reopen by memorial day weekend.

The kayak ramp is across the canal from Stingaree. When you get to the Y go to the left to get to the kayak ramp. It is where the old Charpiot's Marina was.Hambone911 wrote:Where is the kayak ramp at Stingaree? I used the one for PBs when...

I called and the telephone message said they burned on May 4th and will reopen in 4 weeks.Renfish wrote:Was there on Sunday and the restaurant does not look like it will be open this weekend.
We launched at the PB ramp. Didn't know they had one specifically for kayaks and the guy that sold us the bait didn't tell us. Good to know. We'll look for it this weekend.
Mrs Preacher and I will be fishing out of Stingaree Thursday, Friday and maybe Saturday, chasing Trout and slot Reds.

The yak launch is across from Stingaree. Take a left at the Y right after you get on the road o the marina.Hambone911 wrote:Where is the kayak ramp at Stingaree? I used the one for PBs when...
