I think I'm going to design a nice shocker system for my bed extender. Maybe if they touch the holding pin it shocks the heck out of them. May not stop them from taking it, but maybe you would know you got them with at least one good shock!

I've heard quite a few stories about boats, trailers, bed extenders, kayaks and all types of fishing gear being stolen. A simple $10 lock will solve most problems.

Every so often I look at other trailers in the parking lot when I have my boat out. You would be suprised at how many of these fancy dual axle trailers are sitting there begging to be stolen without a lock.

At least make it hard for someone to steal your stuff, fellas! Buy a lock!
Hitch pin locks and trailer hitch locks only work if your ballis welded on! Had someone try to steal a trailer off my truck one time by taking the ball off the hitch at the boat launch!! Luckily i had drug the ball on the concrete a few times and fubared the threads. They couldnt get the nut off and must have given up! If you are serious about preventing trailer theft, a couple small tack welds on the threads of the trailer ball work wonders!

Sorry Bud that you got stolen from.
It's sad that good people have to be one step
ahead of the bad in their line of thinking. They
will get served one day.

Glad you hit the water though!

OK, this sold me. I'm going to seriously upgrade my security.
I was out about two weeks ago and when I got back (Shamrock/ Wilson's) there were two thugs parked right next to my truck...which was the only one out there. When I got closer, they took off. I have a feeling that I was about to get ripped-off.
I'm sorry this happened to you Bud.

I would get the trailer lock it to your hitch.

On my BC trailer I have had the license plate stolen down at the pass and the last time I bolted it to the wheel cover so it is easier to go steal someone that has the plastic mount verse trying to get mine off. ;)
