Welcome to the Board! IMHO, this is the best site of it's kind on the Net.
To answer your question, it's pretty active, although not as active as the Saltwater Board.
We fish the river down below Whitney out of the canoes and kayaks quite a bit. In fact, it's my favorite section of the Brazos. I'll give you a holler next time we head down.

Aquilla
Howdy Boar
I rode my motorcycle all over that Lake before it was finished
My family spent a lot of time together exploring the Proposed Lake area
Sure have caught a lot of fish out of there
Great Lake to fish, if the Jet skiers would stay away from it
We have watched boats run aground on the humps in the lake coming out of Dairy Hill
We like to use Culp when we go
I like to get over by the Island
Have you lived there long??
My husband's largest "boated" bass is 7.9 out of there
I lost one of his while I was trying to net it (I think he has finally forgiving me)
Anyway I figure the one I lost was around 10
My biggest is only 5.2 out of there
I sure have caught some nice sandies & crappie
Don't catch them all
Nan
