TKF NW Chapter GET TOGETHER July 14, 2012 - BTB Trip

We will be holding a group BTB outing on July 14 from sunrise to whenever! We plan on fishing Rollover Pass. Come early if you want to chase pesky fish in the surf. BTB fishing is the focus but so is just hanging out and enjoying the day together.

Living Waters (Daniel) plans on doing Hobie Tandem Island demos through out the day.

Anyone is welcome to try out my Malibu Stealth 9 as well.

If anyone wants to meet at Gander Mountain around 3:30am post up.

DETAILS:
Fish the surf for specs, pampano and other small fish early.
Launch at Rollover with an ebb tide whenever you are ready.

Hope the weather cooperates.
Bring your own bait, food, drink, family, shade and sunscreen and a good attitude.
Leave when you are done!

It has been stormy today but from what I can tell it is to clear off by Saturday. SE winds at 3-5 with 1.6' swells. Unless I'm all wet it looks good to go to me.Are we still on?

We are keeping a very close eye on the weather forecast. If the thunderstorm prediction rises above 50% this trip may be rescheduled. Also, with abundance of fresh water rolling through the bays the bite may be very tough at Rollover. Too much fresh isn't a good thing!

Stay tuned to this post for forthcoming details later this afternoon.
