Hey y'all. It's been a while since I've posted up here but I thought y'all might enjoy some "peektures." These are a few from last weekend. My total for the weekend was 1 doe, 2 hogs, 3 ducks, 5 dove, a quail, a coyote and this big fella below. (busy weekend)
I've been watching this guy for a year or two and finally got the go ahead to shoot him. Came in at about 120 lbs. fully gutted and skinned. He had a previously broken but fully healed back right leg, which I think explains his antler deformity.
Great end to a great season!

Nice! a busy sounding weekend indeed. That buck is cool looking, looks like his short antler grew into a shovel or club. I have always liked those coyotes when they have the thick winter coat. Would make a nice tanned hide.

It seems when there is a injury it shows up on the opposite side in the horn development. Nice buck and a very busy and successful hunt.
