Nice pics, Buck. We had a great time. It was awesome meeting a fellow kayak fisherman. Looking forward to meeting a bunch more on Sunday!

Fishing was slow but we had a chance to chat and paddle, it was a good time! Hope that our weather improves by next weekend. The lake is truly beautiful when the sun shines!

MAN! I can't wait to get out there on Sunday!

I got my kids so pumped up about going that they are giving me a hard time everyday because we aren't going "today". (Well, all except my 16 year old... she isn't really that excited about any picnic.. unless there are "cute boys" there.)

See yall on Sunday.

I sure am hoping that my eXtreme come in before then. It was supposed to be in this past Saturday. And now that the wife has taken back her ironing board I'm yakless.

EWB,

I plan on bringing both. I doubt my wife will paddle for very long and you are welcome to use one of mine if the Malibu doesn't make it.

As I write this huge t-storms and wind are lashing my house in far NW SA. Seems like every weekend we get nasty weather. I'd be even grumpier if my new fly rod had come in. But, it won't be here until next week. The weather report for tommorrow looks good. http://wwwa.accuweather.com/adcbin/publ ... ccuweather

Guess, I will use today to finish up readying my stuff for tommorrow's fun. My wife made a TKF sign that looks like the sticker. I'll put on my truck so y'all can find the site. See ya' tommorrow.

As of 8:30 Saturday night, I'm still planning on showing up with my youngest. We're still a yakless family. The wife won't even let me use the ironing board one last time. Even if me and the little squirt are the only ones there it'll be worth it to spend some time with her. We might even see if we can catch a perch. Just hope tomorrow morning doesn't start out the way this one did, although it was cool watching the clouds roll in.
